Born on May 29, 1937, to the late Bruno and Concetta (Trelieggi) DeCicco. Virginia was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, whose family was her pride and joy. She is survived by her loving children, Harvey Jr. (Lynette McCarthy) Nigbur, Michael (Susan) Nigbur, Carol (Stanley) Leszczynski, Robert (Donna) Nigbur, Timothy (Julie) Nigbur, Linda (Ted) Reidy, and John (Lynn Lumia) Nigbur; her cherished 21 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Virginia was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Harvey Sr., her siblings Catherine (Thomas) Caruso, Anthony (Julia) DeCicco, Jeanne (Rich) Sperle, and John DeCicco, her grandson Jason, and great-granddaughter Tina.

Virginia’s professional life was dedicated to helping others as an ER Tech at Columbia Hospital, where she worked until her well-deserved retirement. Her colleagues remember her as someone who brought both competence and compassion to every situation.

Her hands were rarely still, as she was an avid Bingo player, a master of crochet, and a frequent visitor to Hobby Lobby. Virginia had a remarkable memory and never forgot a birthday, always making each family member feel special and loved.

Her outgoing and caring personality made her a friend to many. Virginia was a devout sports fan, with a particular passion for the Packers. Religion held a significant place in her heart, and she always carried her rosary with her, a symbol of her faith and comfort.
