Vivian Rose Rohde, beloved mother and cherished grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025, in Franklin, Wisconsin. Born on January 25, 1927, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she lived a full and vibrant life, marked by her love for family and her engaging interests.
She had a passion for playing bingo, enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, and took great joy in cross stitching, which allowed her to express her creativity.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Anthony Rohde, Linda Winter, Diane (Michael) Rabuck, and Richard Rohde. Vivian's legacy continues through her nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
Vivian was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Howard, and her parents, Philip and Rose Engelhardt. Their love and influence shaped the remarkable woman she became, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held in her honor on November 4, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral and Cremation Greenridge Chapel, located at 4747 S. 60th Street, Greenfield, Wisconsin. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM. Vivian will then be laid to rest at Arlington Park Cemetery in Milwaukee, where a burial service will commence at 12:15 PM. Flowers are welcome or contributions can be made to the Second Hand Purrs.
Vivian Rose Rohde’s spirit will live on in the countless lives she touched, and her memory will forever remain a blessing to family and friends alike.
