Warren "Stan" Evert, a loving husband, dedicated father, and cherished grandfather, passed away on June 8, 2025, in Muskego, Wisconsin, at the age of 96. He was born on November 12, 1928, in Los Angeles, California, to Ethel and Peter Evert. Stan led a life characterized by devotion, service, and a deep appreciation for the natural beauty of the outdoors.

He dedicated 38 years of his career working as an electrician for Southern Pacific Railroad. Stan's love for the outdoors was evident in his personal undertakings; he thoroughly enjoyed traveling, hunting, camping and exploring in the family jeep, creating many lasting memories with loved ones along the way.

Stan’s adventurous spirit extended beyond his personal life. He proudly served in the United States Army, a testament to his dedication to his country. After completing his service, he engaged with his community through volunteer work, serving on the Pine Lake Fire Department in Arizona, actively contributing to the safety and well-being of his neighbors.

As a devoted husband, Stan took exceptional care of his wife, Marlene, for many years. They spent 66 wonderful years together, a partnership that was filled with love and mutual support. Stan is deeply mourned by his family, including his son Steven (Janet) and his five grandchildren, Jane (Brian) Kluck, Jonah (Jenn) Crump, Monica (Al) Venn, Rebecca (Dave) Russell, Nickolas (fiancée Isabella Wood) and many great grandchildren, who all carry forward the legacy of kindness and adventure that he instilled in them.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Marlene and his daughter Diane, both of whom he missed dearly. Stan’s warmth, laughter, and love for Arizona's desert landscapes will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and his spirit will be remembered fondly by friends and family alike.
